The goal of this guide is to explain how to receive an immediate offer when there are items in your collection preventing us from making one that we consider to be fair. 

Step 1 

Navigate to: https://www.cardhoarder.com/card-keeper and select the ‘Import Collection’ option pictured below.

Step 2

Use the ‘Choose File’ button and select the collection file you previously uploaded, then click ‘Process File.’

Step 3

Click the ‘Update Estimate’ link top right of the page.  You’ll notice the Est. Cash Value says Check Back Later.  Our goal is to remove the most expensive overstocked items from the collection so that we can generate an Est. Cash Value (dollar amount) in this area.

Step 4

Next, you will need to set the three filters shown below in red boxes.  When done the page now displays the collection items we are overstocked on, starting with the most expensive items.

Step 5

For any of the items with a significant value (0.50 tickets or greater), click the ‘# owned’ button.  Manually update the quantity to 0 and click the green checkmark to save the change.

Our suggestion for the overstocked items that you’ve removed would be to sell as many of them as you are able for Event Tickets in the TRADE section of MTGO.  If you are unsure which bots are buying at a fair price, GoatBots is typically a good starting point.

We’ll include instructions below to submit a separate Event Tickets inquiry in Step 8, however, for now, these removed items won’t be included in your collection sale.

Step 6

Click the 'Update Estimate' link in the top right of the page again with the overstocked items now removed, the Est. Cash Value will now list a dollar amount. You can now complete your collection sale normally!

If a dollar amount did not appear next to the Est. Cash Value then return to Step 5 and adjust the items with a significant value of (0.25 tickets or greater) before clicking the 'Update Estimate' link again.

Step 7

Next, click the 'Sell Your Collection' link below the Est. Cash Value.  Check that your MTGO username appears correctly, then click the blue 'Appraise Card Keeper Collection' button. If you are satisfied with the displayed offer, select your desired payment method and click the green ‘Accept Offer’ button. You will be prompted with instruction for completing the sale on the following page.

Step 8

Once you have completed submitting your collection and finished selling any items you removed for Event Tickets, you can submit a Ticket Inquiry Here by entering your details and the number you wish to sell.
