Our website makes browsing for and buying singles, boosters, event tickets and bot credits fast and easy, but with a human touch for delivery. We don’t require our customers to jump through hoops or use discount codes to get the best possible price – everyone has access to our great low prices. Community Manager (Position has been filled)

At Cardhoarder we spend a lot of time thinking about how to engage with the Magic community, to whom we feel a debt of gratitude for supporting us in a business we love. We try to create initiatives to give back - such as our new player welcome gift, player guides, Team Cardhoarder sponsorship, and other projects.  We are very active on Reddit and other social media to provide helpful information and handle customer feedback.  These initiatives help build our brand and business, of course, but our chief priority is to foster good will and a positive experience for Magic players. 

We are currently in search of a tech-savvy, experienced community manager to join the Cardhoarder team.  In this position, you will create content and oversee how Cardhoarder interacts with the community and its customers.  Applicants should (1) be passionate about MTG/O and improving our community, (2) be experienced in marketing, social media, public relations and community outreach, and (3) bring creativity, positivity and intelligence to the workplace.  


  • Engage with customers and the community on a personal level as the voice and personality of Cardhoarder. 
  • Create periodic content, including articles, newsletters and communication materials. Manage Cardhoarder’s social media presence across multiple platforms. 
  • Plan and execute community programs, events and initiatives. 
  • Manage public relations for Cardhoarder initiatives, including Team Cardhoarder and the Cardhoarder Stream Network. 
  • Develop and implement customer communication strategies and company policies related thereto. 
  • Handle escalated one-on-one customer interactions from Delivery Agents to ensure positive and consistent experiences with Cardhoarder. 
  • Network with customers and community members for the betterment of the Cardhoarder brand and the community. 
  • Attend key community events as directed by Cardhoarder, including Team Cardhoarder events (reasonable travel expenses to be covered by Cardhoarder). 
  • Analyze and summarize effectiveness of programs, events and policies using Google Analytics and customer/community feedback. 


  • Strong passion for Magic the Gathering, MTGO, and improving our community. Outgoing and positive personality. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • BS or BA degree in related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience managing social media accounts for brands.

  • $40,000 Annual Salary 
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation 


  • This is a full time position with ad hoc overtime hours to complete job functions. 
  • Travel to certain events is expected, including Team Cardhoarder Grand Prix and Pro Tour events. 
  • This position is a remote position; you are expected to have an adequate at-home set-up to adequately perform job functions

Delivery Agent (No current positions available)

Our best Delivery Agents are passionate about meeting customer needs and making every transaction as easy as possible.


  • Monitor incoming orders and customer communications on MTGO.
  • Interact with customers in a positive manner for all transactions.
  • Manage customer expectations and address all issues with professionalism and respect.
  • Work as part of the Cardhoarder team, assisting fellow employees where needed.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure all orders and customer inquiries are handled in an appropriate timeframe.


  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple customer requests simultaneously.
  • Confidence under pressure.
  • Friendly and outgoing.
  • Strong communication skills online, including ability to type quickly and handle basic computer applications.

  • Previous retail, sales or customer service-oriented experience a plus.

  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.


  • $11 per hour; hours worked over 40 hours per week, if any, are paid at time-and-a-half.
