Privacy Policy

The information submitted to us during the Loan Account Application will only be used for identity verification purposes.  We will never sell nor use any information you submit for marketing or advertisement purposes. Please see our site-wide Privacy Policy for more in depth detail of our policies. The information contained within should not be considered exhaustive and merely an overview of the program. Information Requirements

There are some specific things we require from you to begin the review process:

  • MTGO Username

  • Desired Loan Amount

  • First/Last Name

  • Complete Address

  • Phone Number (For verification purposes, SMS charges may apply)

  • Legal Age Confirmation (Since we require signing of a legally binding contract)

Desired Loan Amount

This is the amount of credit you’re requesting from us. While we are not utilizing a tier system, and want our customers to be able to choose the amount that works best for them, we are imposing a hard ceiling on the amount we will approve with a request of 1000 Tickets. This should be well more than ample to cover any of our customers needs and desires. The actual amount you request is subject to approval and is used to determine your Subscription Payment amount. If you believe you need a higher limit than 1,000 Tickets, please contact support@cardhoarder.com prior to submitting your request so one of our Admins can discuss it with you.

Changing Maximum Loan Value

We want you to be able to always have the level of service you need and desire.  To this end we will allow you to lower your Maximum Loan Value once per week or raise your Maximum Loan Value once every 2 days. To do this simply email the requested change to support@cardhoarder.com and an Agent will instruct you further. All outstanding Loan Orders will need to be returned before your Maximum Loan Value can be lowered.

Application Review

Each Loan Account Application will be subject to approval, and there may be additional information requested of you to be able to move forward with your request. This is to ensure the security of all parties involved. It may take upwards of 24 hours to resolve, and possibly longer depending on the particular circumstances of the review.  Please note that not all Loan Account Applications will be approved, and we reserve the right to deny any Loan Account Application in our sole discretion. If your Loan Account Application is denied and you wish to have us re-review your request, please contact us at support@cardhoarder.com with any additional information you feel is relevant in our review.

Loan Contract

We require all customers with Loan Accounts to sign a contract.  Read it carefully because it is a legally binding document; if you have any questions about any of the provisions, please ask us about it for clarification!  We’ve tried to make it as clear and concise language as possible.

Loan Cancellation

The Loan Account may be canceled at any time without any penalty to you. To cancel your plan all outstanding Loan Orders will need to be returned prior and an email sent to support@cardhoarder.com requesting cancellation.

Subscription Payment Plan

Payment Plans are set up in automated weekly increments utilizing Stripe's Subscription system.  All major Credit Cards ($USD Only), Event Tickets, & Bot Credit are accepted as payment options. If the weekly increment would be less than $3.75 (Maximum Loan Value less than 150 Tickets) the payment option would default in the form of Event Tickets transferred in game to Cardhoarder and invoices sent each week when payment is due.  Outstanding unpaid balances may result in loan account suspension and recovery methods implemented.

Loan Terms

You may loan as many cards as you wish, with as many separate Loan Orders as you need, up to your Maximum Loan Value.  However, if you do not have any available balance, you will be unable to loan out any additional cards until one or more of your outstanding Loan Orders have been returned to free space in your available balance or your Maximum Loan Value increased via an emailed request and recurring payment updated. There is no maximum length of time for you to loan the cards you want as long as your Loan Account subscription is kept current, however, we may send occasional reminders for Loan Orders outstanding longer than a week. It is appreciated that, when not in use, you return your outstanding Loan Orders.  This ensures our ability to keep our costs down and prices affordable for our customers.

Availability

As one of MTGO's largest dealers, we carry an extensive selection of all MTGO cards and have the ability to replenish quickly as market forces change supply and demand. We are making our entire Non-Foil inventory available for the loan program, which should ensure constant availability of whatever cards you want to play with. While we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular cards at any given time, our inventory management system will be creatively managed to ensure as close to 100% availability as we can get.

New Set Release Period

We are committed to making newly released sets available to loan within 7 days of its release on MTGO. We will also monitor stock levels to allow the possibility of earlier availability if we feel it is sufficient for a reasonable customer experience, though demand during the first week can cause supply shortages of in-demand items. Please note: items available only from Treasure Chests may take longer to be readily available for Loan.

Since prices are most volatile within the few weeks of a new set release, we strongly encourage customers to return their loaned cards when not in use; this allows for greater availability for everyone and helps us avoid major losses due to price swings.  That being said, we do know it is frustrating being unable to play with all the cards you desire for a service you’re paying for. For this reason, we are making the Account Pause (see below) feature available to everyone without penalty.

Loan Returns

To return any of your loans simply log into your Cardhoarder account and click the return button on any particular order to set up the automated return process.  Your Available Loan Balance will automatically reflect the freed up balance once return is completed. Please keep in mind that each order has to be returned separately, though you can queue up multiple return requests at the same time.

Account Pause

As much as we all may want to, we understand that you may not have the opportunity to play MTGO every week and we certainly do not want you to pay for a service you aren’t using.  At any time you may have your account placed into Account Pause mode.

Before you can Pause your account, you must ensure that you have no outstanding Loan Orders.  After you’ve returned all outstanding Loan Orders, simply utilize your Loan Dashboard to put your account on Pause.  Pausing your account will:

  1. Suspend your ability to loan cards; and

  2. Halt all billing of your subscription fees while the Account Pause remains in place.  

To reactivate your Loan Account, simply select your desired MLV and click Reactivate/Unpause from your Loan Dashboard we will resume your subscription; restoring your available loan balance and recurring billing.

Please note: If your Loan Account remains on Pause for more than 28 days, we will place your account into 'Inactive (Paused)' status. All this means is that when your request to Unpause your account comes in you would be placed on our waitlist, if there is one, at that time. This is to ensure that there isn't a sudden and unexpected large influx of users putting pressure on the inventory and potentially causing disruptions and inconvenience for all parties.
